A wildfire dubbed the Hazen Fire is burning south of W Hazen Road and S Rooks Road in Buckeye, Maricopa County, Arizona, with smoke drifting toward Goodyear, Avondale, and Phoenix.
The fire is now 10 to 12 acre in heavy fuels, per radio traffic. According to the Watch Duty app, law enforcement has been requested to assist with evacuations at a nearby RV park and equestrian center as a precaution.
