Neetu Kapoor, who has been busy promoting her latest release Daadi Ki Shaadi, often shares heartwarming stories about her family. The veteran actress recently opened up about her adorable morning routine with granddaughter Raha Kapoor and revealed how the little one loves turning their mornings into playful salon sessions.During an appearance on Soha Ali Khan’s podcast, Neetu spoke about the special bond she shares with Raha and the games they enjoy playing together.“She would come every morning and say, ‘Dida Dida, let’s do pedicure.’ So I get this water for her, garam karke, we put our feet inside and then I say, ‘You know this costs money, do you have money?’ And then she says, ‘Yes, I have money,’ and then she gives me pretend money. It’s so cute,” Neetu shared.
‘She puts rollers in my hair’
Neetu Kapoor further revealed that after their pretend “pedicure sessions”, Raha takes over her dressing room for dress-up games.“Then I take her to my dressing room, then she puts rollers in my hair, then she does my makeup. But that’s the dress-up game and we play that game,” she added.
The actress also shared that she often has playful disagreements with Alia Bhatt over spoiling Raha with chocolates.“I am always fighting with her, saying, ‘Alia, at least let me give her one chocolate.’ But she says, ‘No, can’t you understand sugar is not good for her?’ I tell her, ‘It’s okay, I am the grandmother, let me spoil her,’” Neetu said with a laugh.Meanwhile, Neetu Kapoor’s comedy drama ‘Daadi Ki Shaadi’ released in theatres today, May 8. The film also stars Kapil Sharma, Sadia Khateeb, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni and R Sarathkumar in key roles. The movie also marks Riddhima Kapoor Sahni’s Bollywood debut.
